What we keep
Your campaigns, posts, wording, media files, approvals, planned times and measured results. We also keep a record of who did what and when, so anything unexpected can be traced.
Who can see it
Only people who belong to your workspace, and the account that supports you. One client can never see another client's campaigns, media, plans or results.
The Traffic Snowball Plugin
When you install the plugin you sign in and pick one workspace. The plugin is locked to that workspace and cannot move to another one. It can read your campaigns and results, send content as drafts and suggest a plan. It cannot approve anything, connect a social account, or post anything. You can turn it off at any time in Settings, and it stops working straight away.
The Traffic Snowball Chrome Publisher
The Chrome Publisher is an extension that posts content you have already approved, in your own Chrome, to the social accounts you connect and switch on. It works with one workspace.
What it sends to Traffic Snowball
- A random ID for this browser, the extension version, and which networks you switched on.
- A check-in every few minutes saying it is running, and when it last asked for posts.
- The name or handle of the account signed in on a network you switched on (for example "irishmarketer"), so we only post to the account you approved.
- For each post: which steps passed or failed, the link to the finished post, and, when a step fails, a short list of the buttons and boxes on that page (their labels and up to 300 characters of their visible words, at most 8 KB). This is how we fix problems.
- When a button cannot be found, that same short list may be sent to our AI service to point at the right button. The AI never presses Post or Share, never types and never picks files.
What it never does
- It never reads or sends your passwords, messages, cookies or browsing history.
- It only opens the social sites you switch on, and only to read who is signed in or to post approved content.
- It never sells or shares this information, and never uses it for advertising.
- It never runs code downloaded from the internet. Site details it downloads are plain data.
Removing the extension from Chrome, or pressing Disconnect in Connected Accounts, stops it straight away. Ask support to delete this browser's records and we will.
Social accounts
Accounts are connected in Connected Accounts inside this dashboard. We never ask for or store a social media password.
Deleting things
Deleted posts move to Recently Deleted for 30 days and can be restored. Ask support to remove a workspace entirely and we will.
